Hey Jude!

Isn't this little guy just the cutest thing?!! Yes I am an extremely proud cousin. :) This is Aunt Laura's little bundle and a couple weeks ago almost the whole fam came, anywhere from upper Michigan, to Pennsylvania, to stay at our house (18 people sleeping in our house...absolute craziness and I loved every minute of it!) and meet this little guy. Jude, I can't wait to see you grow up, and I'm praying even now that you would be used by God to accomplish marvelous things for Him. I love you!
(Sorry, just had to brag a little!) :)

17!

I can't believe it! One more year and then I'll be heading off into new horizons. It's so weird to think about that next year at this time I'll be planning for college; just crazy! I thank the Lord for giving me so many opportunities to trust him this past year, especially issues concerning my eye sight and my health. He has showed me that apart from Him, I can do nothing, that He is in control of every area of my life and that I don't have to fear what may come my way each day, month, or year. Thank you, Lord, for always being there. I love you!
Here are some pictures of the "momentous" b-day... :)
First picture: I don't even remember what Andy was talking about, but the contrast between him and me makes me laugh every time I see it!
Playing croquet - a family favorite.
Yum! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cheesecake for dessert {and yes, I do make my own birthday cake/dessert every year! I know I'm crazy, but I love to do it. :) }
That's it for now; I hope you all have a great evening!

Catch Up...

Well, the craziness in my life is almost over (I know...who am I kidding!). This is our last week of school :) and then freedom - well a little break at least.
You all know I haven't had time to blog lately, so I'll post some pictures of things that have happened these past few months.

We went to my beautiful aunt's baby shower, which was a lot of fun. Aunt Laura's due in July and we're all rooting for a July 19th birth, because that's my Aunt Becki and Josiah's birthday. :) We'll see what the Lord has planned! (About the picture: as the guests were leaving, she and I were having pictures taken together. During this, there was a whole fiasco involving cars backing up - I think that's all that needs saying - it was hilarious! So that's why we're not looking at the camera...)

Meg and I had a piano recital. I played Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum and Golliwog's Cakewalk by Claude Debussy, and I am a Poor Wayfaring Stranger, arranged by Rebecca Bonam. After week's of preperation, game day came at last. :)

Well, I hope you all are doing well, and are going to take advantage of the beautiful weather to come! Have a great week. :)
