OK, so I know that I haven't really been blogging lately...well, ever! And I'm sorry! :) Well this afternoon, when I was checking up on all the blogs that I read, I came across this tag that Jason tagged me in a while ago and I never found. Whoops! So, I will change history and do this tag. I know, I know. I thought I would never do a tag, let alone a "country" themed tag! ha ha, but I will, because it's the second one you've asked me to do, Jason, and I didn't do the first one. :)
OK, here goes:
1. Have you ever been to a rodeo? OK, for real? We're talking about Ashley Greenfield here...obviously I've never been to a rodeo. :)
2. Have you ever tried to ride a cow? Al-righty...ah-no (could you see me riding a cow ha ha) :)
3. Have you ever milked a cow or a goat? I remember when I was in 3rd grade or so, we took a field trip to a dairy farm, but that's about as close as I've gotten (and I don't think I'll get any closer, thank you very much!)
4. Have you ever been to a Demolition Derby? actually, no. At the Geauga County Fair they have one every year, but I've never been. Do they just smash up cars?...
5. What is your favorite country song? sigh...I really don't like country music! I'm sorry!
6. Do you like to hunt? OK, now this answer might surprise you because of all the other ones...but yes! I've never officially hunted (because I don't have my license to hunt) but I'm fairly certain that I would love it. There's nothing like getting a .12 gauge in your hands and just going at it! Ahhh... I'm sorry Jason, I know you can't stand them. :)
7. Have you ever cooked your breakfast over an open fire in your backyard? Are you serious?? Do s'mores after a cookout count? Or not...
8. Have you ever thought that the muck was shallow and when you stepped in it, you sank knee deep? Um...NO...I'm trying to remember the last time I walked in "muck"
9. What was the hardest thing you've ever had to do? I'm sure there's been harder, but I can't think of it right now...Saying good-bye to all my loved ones in Michigan, when we moved out here to Ohio. So sad... But the Lord is good, and it really is a joy to be here and know all of you!! Just think, if we'd stayed in Michigan, I wouldn't know any of you!! And that would be sad...
10. What's one of your most embarrassing moments? (optional) OK, all I have to say is, ladies, try to never step on the hem of your skirt when you're at a huge combined church service (or any church service for that matter)...yeah...that wasn't cool.
OK, so now you all know how I'm very much a city girl and that this tag made me laugh so much at all the things I haven't done because I'm not a country girl. :) Thanks for pointing that out Jason! But what can I say, I grew up in Detroit? Ha ha! If I was getting graded on this, I'm pretty sure I would've failed, but you know, that doesn't bother me too much...:)
You're tagged!
Meagan - hey little sis!
Hannah - hey little sis #2!
Amanda,
Melanie,
and Bethany Anderson - it was awesome to see you guys last week!
and Rachel M. - Hi!! Welcome to my blog! I don't know you personally, but I'm honored that you're following me.
You all don't have to do this tag if you don't want to; I would totally understand, but go ahead if you want to. :)
Well, this is probably the longest post in the history of my blog, but maybe I'll top my own record someday. But for now, I'm signing off...
Hope you all have a splendid rest of your Sunday!

Little Art Student...
I took this picture over Thanksgiving break, when I went up to Grand Rapids to visit my Nana & Papa with my Aunt Becki. This is Savannah, my cousin, and I just adore this shot of her in the Grand Rapids Art Museum because she will rarely, if ever, stand still for a picture for you...so this was me witnessing history. :) And as a result, I captured this moment...one that I love. Love you Savannah!
